Hello book lovers! Kit here with an update.
Surveys will be sent out via BackerKit in the next few days. Please complete them to confirm your pledge details (including which email address you want the eBooks - and eventually audiobooks - delivered to).
There will be an option to purchase book plates (sticker labels signed by the author that you can place in your books) for those of you who purchased unsigned physical books.
Also, we filmed a big Kickstarter wrap up + channel update + Q&A which you can check out on Youtube here.
OVERALL STATUS: Books 1 and 2 are ready to go, and Book 3 is going through it's final proofread right now.
EBOOKS: We expect to deliver eBooks around 15-21 December.
PHYSICAL BOOKS: Unsigned paperbacks and hardcovers will be sent to our print-on-demand publishers around 15-21 December too. Given the busy end of year postal season, we expect those will arrive to most of you in the first few weeks of January.
(There's a chance you'll get them sooner if the production + postal service is speedy!)
BOX SET / MERCH BOX: We'll start ordering most samples in the next few weeks, with the aim to have them approved and beginning mass production in January
AUDIOBOOKS: We're in the process of interviewing / finalising an agreement with a narrator + producer, will share more on this when we can.

We already knew you were the nicest and most awesome people on the internet, but WOW.
12 hours after launch and we're juuuuust shy of AU$10k funding, AND Kickstarter made us a "Project We Love"!!!
Firstly, THANK YOU to everyone who has backed and shared the campaign. I know I'm biased, but you are going to LOVE these books. We're so excited for you to read them.
(Fun BTS fact: When your pledges started rolling in, Michael looked at me in a panic and said, "Kit, what's my author signature going to look like?? People actually want me to sign stuff!")
Secondly, here are answers to some questions you've asked so far:
Q. Can I get signed hardcovers?
A. In short, no :-(
To elaborate... It's logistically difficult and shipping would cost us all a small fortune. This is a bit of a unique problem for us being based in Australia and most of you all being in the USA and UK / Europe.
However, we are working on an idea to offer signed book plates (essentially a fancy label with the authors signature that you can put inside the cover of your book) as an Add On. This would be available to add to your pledge when you complete your survey after the campaign ends.
The basic (unsigned) hard covers are being printed on demand by our publishers closest fulfilment centre to you. This keeps production, postage costs, and environmental impact as low as possible. If you want to purchase the book plates, it would require paying an extra shipping charge for us to send them to you from Australia.
Q. Kickstarter won't accept my credit card, can you fix it?
A. We don't have any permissions / oversight on your payment processing. Please contact Kickstarter and they should be able to fix it for you.
Q. Can I pay via PayPal?
A. Unfortunately Kickstarter doesn't accept PayPal for payment processing. I think I may have an alternative workaround for those of you who don't have any other way to pay. Please DM me if you need this (but also, if you CAN pay by card through Kickstarter, please do).
